The Anglican Parish of the Dunstan spans a vast geographical area incorporating the townships of Roxburgh, Alexandra, Clyde and Omakau in the Beautiful Central Otago, New Zealand.
Running through our Parish is a number of famous cycling and walking trails which have made the beauties of this location accessible and enjoyable.
The Parish encompasses the deep river valleys, high rocky snow covered ranges, rich gold mining history, historical buildings, pastoral and viticultural farming and modern dairy units.
The people are unbelievably friendly and hospitable providing a contrast for city-weary souls to ‘relax and smell the thyme’.
The area springs to life with the annual blossom festival and the weekend/holiday invasion when folks come to charge their batteries in the hills, ski slopes and on the water.
The Dunstan is an excellent retirement location, where excellent health and welfare facilities are matched by every club/sport and recreation activity imaginable.
Our Parish seeks to match that warm hospitality and community commitment. We endeavour to make our activities and worship both relevant and practical.
